What Journey is

Journey is a private check-in guide prepared by your Host for a specific stay. Guests do not create an account. Access is provided through a private link and reservation-name check.

Information used

Journey may use the reservation name supplied by the Host, the name entered to unlock a stay, expected arrival details, and limited security or activity records needed to operate and protect the guide. Journey does not ask for your Airbnb password or payment details.

Why it is used

This information is used to verify access, show the correct arrival, entry, Wi-Fi, house-rule and check-out guidance, record arrival responses requested by the Host, and investigate misuse or service problems.

Who can access it

The Host and authorised Journey administrators can access the stay information needed to provide the service. Technical service providers may process information only to host, secure and operate Journey, or where disclosure is legally required. Journey does not sell Guest information.

How long it is kept

Private links expire and can be revoked by the Host. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide and secure the stay, resolve issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Your choices

To ask about access, correction or deletion of your Journey information, contact your Host through your Airbnb conversation. Some records may need to be retained where required for security or legal reasons.
